This book absolutely destroys the Islamic worldview from the inside out. Mike explains why the false deity of Allah fails to justify the preconditions of intelligibility everybody takes for granted such as laws of logic and why the ontological triune God of the Bible makes sense of everything we take for granted in daily living. The false deity of Allah fails to justify any definition or standard for epistemology, while Christianity justifies the very concept of knowledge itself.
Mike also exposes how the message of the Qur’an contradicts the truth of the Bible. How the Qur’an actually confirms the truth of the Bible but the Bible denies the claims of Islam such as in God’s nature and character. Mike explains how the triune God of Christianity is the exact opposite of the false character of Allah in every way. Such as Allah having the ability to plan anything he desires (Sura 3:54; 7:99) but that Christ can’t lie, hence can’t plant deceptive desires and contains only truth and love (John 14:6; 1 John 1:5; Titus 1:2).
More examples of inconsistencies with Islam is the problem of doing good works to receive righteousness and forgiveness (Sura 5:9). The Muslim has no absolute standard to confirm he is doing enough good works to receive righteousness or forgiveness. In Christianity people are declared righteous and are forgiven for sins because of God’s work in the person apart from anything in their human nature (Romans 4:4-5; Ephesians 2:8-10).
If you are looking to defend your faith against the Islamic worldview this is an excellent source to start with, even if you aren’t familiar with presuppositional based apologetics.
